Quintessential transformerless inverter technology
The central inverter is based on the transformerless topology that is typical for KACO without a step-up converter. A power section per phase feeds the photovoltaic current in the grid with the highest degree of efficiency. Each of the 3 DC inputs is connected with an independent MPP tracker. The advantage of three power sections: failure of a string is easily detected by the output of one of the power sections falling when compared to the others.
The DC input voltage of the central inverter is compatible with all single-phase transformerless Powadors. The fans only run when required. The new cooling concept with separate encapsulated electronics also enables use in extreme conditions.
The central inverters of the 000xi series are available in three versions (M, L and XL). The generator junction box is integrated in the inverter for all versions. The L and XL versions also have five string fuses for each phase. The XL version also has overvoltage protection.
